Short, and meant to be read. NorthStar is a small service run by one person, not a company.
What this is
A planner that mirrors your calendar and lets you keep private notes beside it. It is offered as it is, for anyone who wants it, and it was built for school teachers.
Your account
Accounts are approved by hand before they can sync. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in safe. Do not use somebody else's account.
Your content belongs to you
Your notes and your calendar data are yours. No ownership of them is claimed, and they will not be used to train anything or shown to anyone.
What is not promised
This runs on one person's hardware. There is no uptime guarantee, no support commitment, and it can be unavailable. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Fair use
Do not attack the service, do not use it to store unlawful material, and do not try to reach other people's data.
Ending it
You can delete your account whenever you like. An account can be suspended if it is used to attack the service or to break the law.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for lost data or for the service being unavailable. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Which law applies
Slovenian law, and the service runs on machines in Slovenia. If you are in the EU, the consumer protections of your own country still apply to you and nothing here removes them.
